Hello,

CentOS has just announced the release of CentOS Linux 7 build 1503, otherwise named CentOS 7.1.

http://lists.centos.org/pipermail/ce...ch/021006.html

OVH has of course already updated the installations to bring you this latest version.

The Release Notes are available here:
http://wiki.centos.org/Manuals/ReleaseNotes/CentOS7

As CentOS is a clone of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, the details of this update are available on the Red Hat website:
https://access.redhat.com/documentat...s-Storage.html

Some interesting points:
– LVM cache: possibility to use SSD as a cache device for LVM
– Docker 1.4.1
– OpenSSH 6.6.1
– new libguestfs tools: virt-builder, virt-diff, virt-log, virt-v2v, ...

You can (and should!) update your current version with the "yum update".

Last week, we also updated the OpenSUSE distributions to give you version 13.2. Here's the link for the details on this release:
https://en.opensuse.org/Features
– kernel 3.14 (OVH) and 3.16 (OpenSUSE) as an option
– integration of snapper.io
– Btrfs for / by default
– PHP 5.6.1

The update can be done with zypper:

Best,
Félix
