To get the good feelings by reading the following news we suggest you to listen to "Can't Stop" by Red Hot Chili Peppers on loop for 5 minutes. at least.

Ready? ... So here we go ...

Hello,

Following the contract changes with VMware on VM licenses, we have simplified the PCC billing and divided billing of the majority of
pCC Customers by -50%!

How do you divide the bill to -50%?
-------------------------------------------------
Now we don't bill VMware licenses at the end of the month any more at the started VM! You will only pay for the hosts and the NAS. You have of course a license and pay the OVH but it is calculated differently. The license will be included in the price of pCC
any number of VMs running on your pCC. Is simplified.

It also simplifies the license types and is from 4 to 2.
The "standard + DRS" is available on the hosts S & M.
The "entreprise plus" is available on the L,L+, L++, XL, XL+.

Limitation; you do not have the licenses and
you are unable to be "entreprise plus" on the hosts S and M

If you are taking today a dedicated server to make ESXi
you should consider the pCC.
Why? Because now you have the default "Standard + RDS"
whereas with a dedicated
server you have the license "for FREE". This is a beautiful
gift for the pCC in terms of functionality for the same price!
You now have the features like HA, VMotion, DRS and the
vSphere centralized to manage multiple hosts with a single interface.
If you have more than 20 VMs on the three hosts and one free license
per server vCenter is fast ... heavy.
Same for the API.

You can also have 1 single hosts in a datacentre regardless of the license.

The prices of the hosts S, M and the M and L packs were unchanged.
Prices hosts L+, L++, XL, XL+ and XXL pack has changed.

As previously announced that, we have removed the promo
on the installation costs.
So here we go: The pCC is now available as "hyper stable"

The ability to create templates Windows has also been added;
by checking the templates will appear in the Windows VM vSphere.
The Windows license billing takes place at end of month, with the use,
depending on the size the hosts on the Windows VM
- 75 euros for the hosts S & M
- 150 euros for the hosts L
- 300 euros for the hosts XL

For current customers, the new contract must be confirmed by logging
into the Manager v5: https://www.ovh.com/managerv5/

For more information:
http://www.ovh.com/fr/private_cloud/

Hosts and storage resources are already permanently
billed (invoice of June 1). On 1 July, the bill
includes the price of hosts (new price) and
resources at the time added.

Ongoing:
- vShield zone that isolates the VMs between itself and
prevent spoofs of your network
- vShield Edge which can create your pCC vlan private groups
and isolating them from VM
- vCloud that allows you to connect two vSphere together
and make 3 basic things:
- Toggle a VM vSphere from your home to the PCC in OVH
- Resume a VM to your pCC vSphere as in your home
- To pair your pCC with (future) and pCI make Cloud Computing Hybrid
But also the same thing with a VM and a vApp that a group of VMs.
More generally you will be able to expand into the pCI cheap,
bring your VM / VAPP of pCI your pCC production or at home
(if you want to host your home on VMware) or deploy a VM / vApp from
your pCC / pCI on your home to be pinpointed anywhere in the world.

Briefly, early ... Can't stop

Regards
Octave
